On a cold, rainy, gloomy day like this one, I find it challenging to come up with different active workouts to do with Willow. We typically rotate between making obstacle courses, which takes more time to build and tear down than actually get a decent workout out of it or we dance to kids bop videos, which doesn't exactly strick fun and motivation for myself.
However doing her activities gives her a ton of benefits and she is my world. I think its important to teach her different workouts and keep her active anyway I can.
Since she is a little bigger now we have been doing workouts like Zumba and one from my childhood, Barbie Workout.
Barbie Workout is a dance aerobics routine. Thirty minutes of twirling, doing to sidewalk strut, bunny flop and much more. Its a great workout for myself and her. To give myself more of a challenge I add light weights, only two or three pounds.
